We have established relationships with state-approved rescues.
Our rescues:
Have all adoptable cats thoroughly examined by a veterinarian prior to arrival.
Any medical needs are addressed and treated prior to arriving.
Behavior is evaluated to be certain they are good indoor pets and what the best placement for them will be.
- Are they good with children?
- Do they get along with other pets?
They are tested for FIV, Coccidia and Giardia, all common in outdoor cats. Treated if needed.
They are given worming and flea/tick treatments prior to arrival.
All are spayed/neutered.
All are fully vaccinated.
Once they have arrived, they live cage-free in the kitty corral until adopted. They are loved and cared for by our dedicated staff during their time with us. MeWow can give the best evaluation of the cats as we spend numerous hours with them.
Best of all, you get to meet them as they really are as they are living comfortably in a place they are familiar with.
