FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: 
Are you allowed to bring your own cat to a cat café?

MeWow Café: 
Actually no. Our cats are our residents supplied by our partners, Bucks County SPCA and Kitty Junction. Our partners carefully evaluate the cats personality to assure that they are the right fit for this interactive environment. It also does not allow for the introduction of sicknesses.

Question: 
Can you adopt the cats?

MeWow Café: 
Absolutely!! That is one of our primary goals is to find the cats a loving home. We are proudly partnered with the Bucks County SPCA and Kitty Junction, who supply our cat residents. All adoptions will done through our partnered rescues.

Question: 
Do the cats go home at night to the shelter?

MeWow Café: 
Actually, no! Our cats live (and are loved) at MeWow until they are adopted by their furever family.

Question: 
Who pays for the care of the cats?

MeWow Café: 
The care of the cats and facility is all supplied by your donations. We cannot do this without you! 

Question: 
Can I take a cat home the same day? 

MeWow Café: 
Adoption of our cats is a process with our partners. It does not happen the same day. They will make the decisions and arrangements about the adoptions. We ask your patience until the day you will take home your furrever friend.

Question: 
Can I volunteer and can I work there?

MeWow Café: 
Yes and yes! We will let you know when interviews are. 

Question: 
Can you take a cat in an emergency?

MeWow Café: 
Unfortunately, we are not equipped for that.

Question: 
Can we make an exception on the age of the child?

MeWow Café: 
No. We risk losing our partnerships with our rescue agencies. Most importantly the safety of the child and the cats is our primary concern. We understand that your child may live with a cat. Our cats do not know your child however. 

 

Question: 
Are reservations mandatory?

MeWow Café: 
No. We highly recommend them on the weekends as it is very busy. A reservation guarantees your time and spots.
